A very special father kept a secret from his daughter for 13 years, just so he could give her a priceless gift on the day of her high school graduation. On her very first day of school, he bought “Oh The Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss. Ever since her first day of kindergarten, he has been working on this amazing surprise for her. She thought it was a normal book.

But, he told her “open it up.” When she did, tears came instantly to her eyes. He told her, “Every year, for the past 13 years, since the day you started kindergarten I’ve gotten every teacher, coach, and principal to write a little something about you inside this book.”

Opening up what she thought was a normal Dr. Seuss book, “Oh, The Places You’ll Go.”

The secret he kept for 13 years…
