Restaurant Server Offers Touching Breakup Advice

· Written by

Breakups pretty much always suck big time. But things aren’t always as bad as they may seem. After experiencing a particularly depressing breakup, one Reddit user went to a restaurant to try to take their mind off of their sorrows.

There, they encountered a server who just wanted to make their day better. Once the server knew their customer just got dumped, they offered kind words of advice.. and as you can imagine, the server got a generous tip.

“I was very very pleased with the result,” Sam (the dumpee) said. “I’ve kept the container. I look at it when I feel particularly down about this relationship, or when some other dude does some other stupid dude thing.”

Life goes on… go to restaurants. It’ll make you feel better.
