The Mirage Volcano (1989) returned to the strip in December 8, 2008  with a $25 million redesign, by WET, the company responsible for The Fountains of Bellagio, with all new effects like sound, light, music and heat to give you the impression of watching an actual volcano irrupt before your very own eyes.  The Volcano plays nightly every hour on the hour from dusk to 11 p.m.
